Attending conferences during the year is an important way our Network Members stay in touch with each other, expand their knowledge and perspectives, and establish important working relationships with others in the mountains protection field.

They also give us the opportunity to present mountain protection research findings, alert others to potential opportunities or problems, and craft and announce various position statements or resolutions pertaining to mountain protection issues.

And of course we always enjoy getting together to share the special comraderie that love of mountains creates!
